It's extremely gratifying to play, or observe people playing a game that you've had a hand in creating.
Published titles I worked on for Microsoft Games Division alone included: Pandora's Box, Asheron's Call, Allegiance, Starlancer, Mech-Commander & Age of Empires. I have also worked on other unpublished games.
I was originally brought in on contract with Microsft AAS Games Group to create 3D in-game art for Pandora's Box, which was a puzzle-based game designed by Alexey Pajitnov, the creator of Tetris. Later I moved to other titles and roles.
I worked two years straight on contract with Microsoft before I was legally obliged to take a break, during which time I was recruited by another company. I later returned on and off over the years to work freelance and as a vendor with other divisions of the company.
